1. The 30-second version
- We collect the minimum we need to sign you in (email or wallet) and to remember your bookmarks, alerts, and brackets.
- We never sell or share your data with advertisers. There is no analytics tracker, fingerprinting script, or marketing pixel on the site.
- We don’t custody your funds. UnusualBets is a UI on top of Polymarket — your USDC and your shares stay in your own wallet.
- You can delete your account from /account at any time. Deletion is real: rows are removed, not flagged.
2. What we collect and why
When you sign in via Privy:
- Email address(if you choose the magic-link or Google login) — to authenticate you.
- A Polygon wallet address— to read your Polymarket positions and submit trades on your behalf.
- A Privy DID— Privy’s stable user identifier.
When you opt into Telegram alerts:
- Your Telegram chat IDand (if you’ve set one) public @username— to send alert messages.
- A pause-until timestamp if you run
/pausein the bot — so we know to mute delivery.
When you bookmark or create an alert:
- The market slug or trader address you’re following, plus your alert rule parameters (size, side, channels).
When you arm a take-profit / stop-loss bracket:
- The market, outcome, share quantity, and trigger price you chose, plus the bracket’s status as it executes.
That’s the entire list. We do not collect IP addresses for analytics, we don’t run third-party trackers, and we don’t share any of the above with advertisers or data brokers.
3. Third parties we send data to
UnusualBets relies on a handful of well-known providers to run. Each of them has its own privacy policy; the table below maps what we send to which.

Because every order we route is your order placed on Polymarket, you also accept Polymarket’s terms and privacy policy when you trade through UnusualBets.
4. Cookies
We use one kind of cookie: a session cookie issued by Privy so you stay signed in across page loads. There are no analytics cookies, no marketing cookies, and no third-party tracking pixels anywhere on the site.
5. Data location and retention
Our database (Supabase Postgres) is hosted in region TBC pre-launch. Worker traffic to Polymarket originates from a GCP VM in europe-north1.
Retention rules:
- Account data is kept until you delete it.
- Bracket stateis kept indefinitely so your historical P&L can be reconstructed — but only you can see it.
- Your Telegram chat IDis removed the moment you click “Disconnect Telegram” on /account, or run
/stopin the bot. - Anonymous worker logs (used to debug failed fills, rate-limit issues) are kept ≤ 30 days and are not joined to user data.
6. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Export everything we have on you — /account→ “Export data”.
- Delete your account — /account→ “Delete account”. Deletion is irreversible and runs immediately.
- Disconnect Telegram independently from the rest of your account.
- Email us at contact@unusualbets.com to make any request manually.
If you’re in the EU/UK, GDPR / UK-GDPR applies. We act as data controller for your account data. The lawful basis is performance of contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) for everything we need to operate the service.
7. Children
UnusualBets is not directed at anyone under 18. If we learn we’ve collected data from a minor, we delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
When we materially change this policy we’ll surface a banner on the site for at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) are reflected by bumping the “Last revised” date at the top.
